Kremlin expects no more disconnections from gas exports

MOSCOW, Jun 9 (PRIME) -- Russia has already stopped gas supplies to all Western companies that refused to pay in rubles and expects no new disconnections, presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Thursday.

"No, the system is working, the system has been fixed, and those who receive gas are already working under the new terms set by the presidential decree," Peskov said.

Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered on March 23 to charge rubles for gas and consider payments in any other currency non-fulfillment of the contracts since April 1. The payments will be done via Gazprombank that will exchange the other currencies for rubles.
